Valdobbiadene: The expression of Cartizze and Prosecco
A short distance from Venice are the splendid hills of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene wine region. This denomination has become famous throughout the world not only for its production of sparkling wine, but also because in 2019 the Prosecco hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene were included in the UNESCO list as a world heritage site. The winemakers of the area have contributed to the creation of a unique environment.
Both renowned wineries and small winemakers, produce quality wines from grapes of the Glera variety, grown heroically on the steepest slopes of the Rive Grand Cru and Cartizze areas.
